Information about the actual use of cookies, local storage and similar technologies at Hōju Matcha.

1. General approach
Hōju Matcha does not use analytics cookies, advertising pixels, commercial tracking tools, marketing profiles, automated newsletters or technologies intended to sell or share personal data for advertising purposes.
We currently use only the technical or functional storage needed for the shop to work properly: keeping the basket, enabling sign-in, managing customer accounts and remembering a visual preference requested by the user.
Hōju Matcha does not sell personal data. Data is shared only with providers needed to deliver the requested service, such as payments, web hosting, transactional email, order management or logistics, as explained in the privacy policy.
2. What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies and similar technologies store or retrieve information on the user’s device. On this page, the term is used broadly to include cookies, browser local storage and equivalent mechanisms.
3. What we do not use
- We do not use Google Analytics or equivalent tools.
- We do not use Google Tag Manager.
- We do not use Meta Pixel or advertising pixels.
- We do not use Hotjar, Clarity, PostHog, Plausible or heatmap and measurement tools.
- We do not create advertising profiles.
- We do not sell personal data.
- We do not share data for advertising or marketing purposes.

5. Future changes
If Hōju Matcha significantly changes the technologies it uses in future, this page will be updated before any new use is activated. The project’s current decision is not to introduce analytics, advertising pixels, commercial tracking or data sales.
