Not every matcha is intended for the same cup. To make an informed comparison, check its origin, region, cultivar, grade and recommended preparation. At Hōju, we show these details on every product page so you can choose by flavour profile and use, as well as price.
Origin and cultivar
The region and cultivar help you understand what you are buying. Our current selection includes matcha from Uji, Kyoto, and Kagoshima, with the cultivar listed when it is part of the product information.
